Canvas stretching frames constucted with metal rienforced corners which increase the ridgidity of the structure as well as enabling the use of lighter guage strips of wood with no loss of overall strength. This being more efficient than the usual method of fixing the corners as indicated below, although this type of frame can also be ordered to size if prefered. ALL STRIPS OF WOOD ARE PROFILED SO AS NOT TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THE CANVAS EXCEPT ON THE OUTSIDE EDGES OF THE STRETCHING FRAME
